2014 Winner: Mixed Use/Multi-family Development

The Joseph mixed-use development brings several critically important elements to the Short North Arts District. The new boutique hotel is the first of its kind in the city; a new Cameron Mitchell Restaurants farm-to-table restaurant will be located on the first floor of the hotel and will provide both room service and banquet catering for the hotel. The parking garage will provide much-needed parking relief and the entire project provides connectivity between the Short North and Goodale Park. The Joseph will transform the heart of the Short North by combining art, hospitality, dining, office and retail uses on sites that previously housed surface parking lots and an antiquated office building. NAIOP members Colliers International and E-M-H and T participated in this project.
