Join NAIOP for a program on trends in the logistics industry and how the Columbus Region is positioned to compete for and win new investment.  The event will feature two subject matter experts that will provide insights on topics such as:

  • What kind of activity is occurring, locations seeing the most investment and job creation, and the variables driving site selection decisions.
  • How the Columbus Region is viewed by national retailers and distributors as a home for their critical distribution and fulfillment operations.
  • How tax policy, including the proposed Federal Marketplace Fairness Act, will impact the Columbus Region’s competitiveness for new logistics users, including electronic retailers.

Kenny McDonald from Columbus 2020 will also present the product of a joint workgroup between NAIOP, Columbus 2020 and SIOR members focused on the Columbus Region’s value proposition to logistics end-users and providing fact-based, easily-digested collateral material for real estate and development professionals to use in their dealings with out-of-state decision makers.
